Two different fried chicken chains have closed around central Ohio

There’s two less places to grab a bucket of fried chicken and biscuits. Both Church’s Chicken and KFC have closed locations around central Ohio.

The Church’s Texas Chicken location at 4488 E Main St. in Whitehall is currently shut down, and an employee at the Cleveland Ave. location said that they were told this was a temporarily closure, but it’s now going on three months of no one in the building and no plans to reopen, as far as the Cleveland Ave. employees know.  Most recent reviews for this location mention that it seemed short staffed, with long car lines in the drive-thru, and long wait times to pick-up food orders.

Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 3721 Fishinger Blvd. in Hilliard’s Mill Run area, is now also permanently closed. Dozens of 1 and 2 star reviews left for this location in the past year explain that it was “disgusting,” “dirty,” “terrible,” and “trash.”
