Columbus home featured on Zillow Gone Wild

A Columbus home recently made Zillow Gone Wild, the popular social media account that highlights some of Zillow’s coolest and most unusual listings, and we think it’s very deserving of its new moment in the spotlight.

From the outside, the Fordham Rd. house, located on the city’s North Side, doesn’t appear particularly unusual. At just under 1,600 square feet, the three-bedroom and two-bathroom abode features a “spacious living room” and split-level floorplan.

According to real estate agent Rayna Morgan, the Maize Meadows home is owned by 73 year old Danny Jordan, who is a collector of antique typewriters. And judging by the photos alone, it’s home to well over 100 of them.

“When I originally got the email from Zillow Gone Wild, I almost didn’t open it. You never know what’s fake these days,” Morgan said. “And then I actually looked into it, and they said they wanted to feature the Fordham Road home. I thought, This is actually legit.”

You can see the original home listing here.

According to Morgan, Jordan has been “incredibly gracious” with all the intention, which has included inquiries from national news outlets.

“It’s funny, Danny had photos of his historic home in Olde Towne East with the same typewriter collection, and nobody noticed then,” Morgan told 614Now with a laugh. “Who knows. Maybe it’s just the quality of the photos this time.”
