Last September, several of the standout contestants from season three of the hit Netflix show Blown Away visited Franklin Park Conservatory’s glass-blowing studio.

In the show’s fourth season, the script has been flipped, and now one of central Ohio’s own will join a crew of other contestants.

Columbus resident and Ohio State grad Jonathan Capps will be one of ten competitors on the show’s newest season, which premieres tomorrow.

Capps first attended Centre College in Kentucky before receiving his Master of the Fine Arts degree from Ohio State in 2016. He is also a Fulbright scholar, spending three years in Finland studying Finnish glass-making.

The reality series has contestants compete in themed glassblowing challenges that are scrutinized by judges, who decide which artists will advance to the next round. The winner of season 4 will receive a prize package worth $100,000.
