Following yearlong closure due to fire damage, long-standing Clintonville business reopens

Clintonville Coin Laundry, a High Street business that has operated now for three decades, announced on March 24, 2023 that it had temporarily closed due to a fire.

On March 23, 2024, almost a year later to the day, the neighborhood laundromat officially reopened its doors for business, according to a Clintonville Coin Laundry employee.

“It was a long process to clean up and rebuild the interior. It is great to be reopened! We have many loyal customers that we have kept in contact with throughout the time we were closed. It’s great to see them again,” the laundromat told 614Now in a statement.

The laundromat used the fire as an opportunity to fully remodel its interior, which now boasts a clean, minimal interior with neutral tones. The concept logged each step of the remodel progress on its Facebook page as well.
