Jason Kelce loses Super Bowl ring in pool of Skyline Chili at Ohio podcast event

Jason Kelce, One of the greatest centers in NFL history and brother to Travis Kelce, has lost his super bowl ring, according to a recent episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, New Heights. Where did he lose it, you ask: In a literal pool of Skyline Chili at a live podcast episode event earlier this month in Cincinnati.

There’s a lot to unpack here, we know. We’ll give you a minute.

According to the podcast, the live podcast–which was held April 11 at the University of Cincinnati, where both Kelce brothers went to school–included plenty of hilarious touches from the Kelce brothers, including a pool filled with Skyline Chili.

Visitors were able to dig through the pool, searching for replica Super Bowl rings tied to socks. One of the rings, however, was Kelce’s real 2018 Super Bowl ring.

“And I don’t even know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event,” Jason Kelce said on New Heights.

He went on to note that podcast staff dug through the chili after he realized it was missing, but to no avail.

“All of this stuff has been thrown away, so I think we can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill, someplace in the Cincinnati Tri-State area.”

Kelce has already put an insurance claim in for the missing ring. We’re not sure if his policy covers chili damage, however.
