Long-standing local TV weatherman released from prison after serving four years

A former 10TV weatherman has been released from prison after serving four years related to child pornography charges.

Mike Davis was released last week from Grafton Correctional Facility in Grafton, Ohio.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force receieved a tip that Davis had downloaded child porn, and was alleged to be possession of thousands of images. Davis was arrested in 2019 on four charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, and was sentenced to 4-6 years in Ohio prison.

Davis, who was a well-known TV personality, served as a weatherman for 10TV. He was fired after his arrest in 2019.

He will be required to register as Tier II sex offender for the next 25 years.
