“Officers searched nearby stores in hopes of finding the child’s parents but were unsuccessful. Shortly thereafter, the child was transported to Franklin County Children’s Services,” said Jennifer Watson in an email to 614Now.
The parents have been notified of their son’s whereabouts and are scheduled to pick him up from Franklin County Child services today, and there will be no charges filed at all.
“The child’s parents are happy that he is safe and that he will be returning home shortly,” said Watson.
