The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has one suspect in custody and has issued a warning to others about a ring of “Shopping List Theives.”

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Mark Long is in custody and is currently suspected to be involved in a local shoplifting ring. Long and another man allegedly received “shopping lists” from small, local convenience stores, and would then steal these items from big box retailers, including Target and Sephora. The stolen items would allegedly be resold from the convenience stores at a discounted price.

Police did not name any of the convenience stores they believe are involved in the scheme.
