Traffic cameras catch truck driving backwards on busy Ohio interstate

Don’t try this at home, folks. Please – we’re begging you – Columbus traffic is already bad enough sometimes.

The Ohio Department of Transportation traffic cameras caught an old, red pick-up truck merging, in reverse, onto I-90 towards Cleveland. The truck then continued down the freeway, still completely in reverse.

“Driving in reverse on the freeway is HIGHLY discouraged,” said the ODOT in a statement. “Don’t be this driver. If your vehicle is malfunctioning, stop and call for assistance.”

Social media user Kristian Santana (@is.gains) captured the truck as well, posting it to their Instagram account. “I thought he was coming towards you man!” someone in the video yells.
