Anticipated nationally acclaimed cowboy bar and smokehouse opening in Columbus next week

Sav McKee

Buckle up, Columbus cowboys and cowgirls! Your new favorite place is riding into town next week.

PBR Cowboy Bar + Smokehouse, the highly anticipated and nationally acclaimed 8,400-square-foot bull riding and country bar, is opening its doors in Columbus on February 29 at 9pm until 2am, and you’re invited to join in on the fun. Yes, you, regardless of whether you consider yourself a cowboy or country music lover (yet). The PBR team emphasized, “We’re a cowboy bar, yes, but cowboys are more than just ‘country.’ They’re adventurous; they’re rugged; they’re fun.”

Nestled in the heart of Easton at 3950 Gramercy St., you can expect a vibrant atmosphere featuring a bustling dance floor, top-notch DJs spinning popular hits and country classics, a renowned smokehouse restaurant, live sports screenings, an expansive patio, and of course, a mechanical bull, operated under the expert guidance of a professional hydraulics mechanic.

Every Thursday from 8pm to 10pm, The Columbus Stampede straps on their boots and kicks off the party with line dancing lessons, ensuring you’re ready to strut what you got on the dance floor throughout the rest of the weekend.

Their PBR Columbus Kitchen is open until 10pm Sunday through Saturday, serving up mouthwatering smoked meats, juicy burgers, and jumbo wings, along with shareable appetizers like a gooey brisket queso. Quench your thirst with a Cinnamon Smoked Old Fashion, a Southern Tea, a boozy milkshake, or an ice cold draft beer. Additionally, a late-night menu is available Thursday through Saturday, from 10pm-midnight.

True to their name, the Professional Bull Riders Cowboy Bar brings the thrill of the rodeo right to Columbus with their mechanical bull, encouraging you to showcase your grit and determination. This could sound intimidating at first, but the PBR Cowboy team assured us that safety is paramount, and you can request a gentler ride if you prefer. Don’t forget to join the bull’s birthday bash on March 29, where its name will be finalized and he’ll receive a personalized birth certificate (no – this isn’t BS – It’s a PBR tradition to name and throw a birthday party for their 14 other bulls in other cities!).

Get ready to grab the bull by the horns at the grand opening party of PBR Cowboy Bar on the 29th, and thereafter, drop by Sunday through Wednesday, 11am to 10pm, and Thursday through Saturday, 11am to 2am. The one exception will be March 1, when they’ll open at 4pm instead of 11am.
