After an 8 month closure, popular pizzeria reopens

The moment we’ve all been waiting for, ladies & gents: DiCarlo’s Pizza has officially reopened their Westerville location after a brief hiatus.

Located at 20 S. State St., this quaint pizzeria has reopened under management of the DiCarlo’s family directly. They posted on their Instagram over the weekend a preview of the new spot, with the announcement, “DiCarlo’s Pizza has reopened in Westerville! Stop on in! Grab a few cuts!”

This location was originally opened by franchisees Mike and Sarah Carlson in July of 2022, and it shuttered last August. The Westerville community couldn’t be more thrilled to have their beloved spot back open for business.

DiCarlo’s is known for serving Ohio Valley Pizza since 1945. The base is a crispy square crust that’s not flimsy or soggy, which is then topped with a savory tomato sauce baked with additional toppings, and then fresh provolone served unmelted, then old world pepperoni locally sourced from Columbus.

Their website says that the Westerville location’s hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
