Even the mayor loves Jeni’s: Incentive could bring HQ to downtown

IMG_2067Mayor Michael Coleman’s administration had proposed an incentive to pull Jeni’s headquarters from the Grandview area to downtown and Tuesday the Columbus City Council approved the 5-year, 50 percent incentive. There isn’t a location picked for the approximately 55 jobs that would be moved/hired for the downtown location yet. According to Columbus Business First, the incentive is estimated to be worth about $49,162 a year for the splendid cream makers, which equate to quite a few scoops of ice cream.
