This Columbus-area destination is getting a 110 foot-tall ferris wheel

This summer, the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium will be offering an attraction that towers above the rest in central Ohio.

We mean this literally.

According to a social media statement from the Columbus Zoo, the Adventure Sky Wheel will open at the Zoo over Memorial Day Weekend.

This massive attraction, which will only be available for a limited time, is 110 feet tall. It’s one of three that are the same size in the state of Ohio.

A ride on the Adventure Sky Wheel will cost $4 for Zoo members and $5 for non-members. According to the Zoo, funds raised by the wheel will “support the Zoo’s animal care and conservation efforts as we carry out of our mission of empowering people and saving wildlife.”

The giant ferris wheel will be located in the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium’s Adventure Cove.
