New cheesesteak & hoagie concept just opened in historic German Village bar
Where can you get a $4 drink, sauerkraut balls, and a Philly Cheesesteak in Columbus? Well now, none other than Hey Hey Bar & Grill.
After Two Fatt Indians recently left Hey Hey Bar & Grill’s kitchen, a local cheesesteak eatery with roots in Grove City moved right in. This restaurant, Philgeddaboutit, already has one location inside Town Center Pub in Grove City, where it’s made a name for itself by serving huge, gooey, authentic Philly Cheesesteaks, burgers, wings, melts, and other bar snacks.
Philgeddaboutit uses freshly sliced steak, housemade cheese sauces, and locally baked bread to make “the perfect cheesesteaks and hoagies,” according to their social media. They opened last Thursday, and are there at Hey Hey slinging cheesesteaks every day starting at 2pm.

Hey Hey emphasized that Philgeddaboutit already has “rave reviews,” and according to social media, the food is “out of this world.” Comments left on Hey Hey’s introduction post say that Philgeddaboutit is downright incredible.
Hey Hey is known for featuring local eateries in their kitchen space, collaborating so that the German Village neighborhood is able to grab a bite while enjoying a gin & tonic at their 100+ year old bar.
If you’re interested in grabbing some deep fried wings and a Buffalo chicken Philly cheesesteak this week, Hey Hey is located at 361 E. Whittier St. in German Village.
