From meatless fast food to vegan poppers, 614 feast names his top vegan
I may not be a vegan, but that doesn’t stop me from indulging in a vegan feast every now and then. Columbus’s vegan food scene is nothing short of incredible, offering everything from traditional to trendy and wildly creative vegan dishes. These five vegan dishes are more than just meals; they’re a celebration of what vegan cuisine can be. Perfect for vegans and non-vegans alike, these dishes are a must-try for anyone looking to explore the rich variety of vegan flavors Columbus has to offer.
4th & State (152 E State St) – This chill vegan restaurant has an amazing menu, and my go to is the Vrunchwrap, it’s a playful vegan twist on a beloved fast-food classic. It’s packed with soy chorizo, just egg, hashbrown, cheddar cheese, and a sriracha horseradish aioli, all snugly wrapped in a flour tortilla. Served with a side of sour cream and sriracha aioli, and pro tip: add their vegan ranch for that elusive triple dip.
SŌW Plated (1625 W Lane Ave) – Their Pad Thai has high quality ingredients that bring together rice noodles, an Asian vegetable blend, Yuzu mushrooms, and spicy coconut curry, topped with crunchy cashews. It’s a delightful mix of great textures and tons of flavor, with just the right amount of spice.

Seitan’s Realm (3496 N High St) – Indulgent Poppers: these are really special, so good and comforting. Breaded jalapenos stuffed with chedduh, cream cheeze, and homemade bacun, fried to crispy perfection and served with horsey sauce, I also get the vegan ranch because I love to double dip.
Zammy’s Vegan Kitchen (1155 Worthington Woods Blvd) – 10 pc Boneless Wings with their buffalo and scorpion sauces on the side. They offer a 5-piece option, but I prefer to go big with the 10-piece—it’s a party on a plate. Ten pieces are truly a satisfying feast, proving that vegan food can be hearty and delicious.
Can’t Believe It’s Vegan (584 W Schrock Rd) – Buddha Bowl, a bowl brimming with nutrition and taste. Jasmine rice topped with BBQ Jackfruit, black beans, sweet corn, roma tomatoes, avocados, and finished with a drizzle of Sriracha mayo. Served with house fries, this bowl is a fresh feast with great flavors and textures.
