The Cheesecake Girl announces new location, opening date

It was a very merry Christmas for Columbus Cheesecake fans, as the ever-popular Cheesecake Girl announced a new location.

According to a post shared by the concept on Christmas, The Cheesecake Girl plans to open a location inside of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

“Located in Doan Hall, across from ExpressOasis Coffee and upstairs from Wendy’s, we are tucked into the perfect little spot,” a statement from The Cheesecake Girl reads.

The new location will open on Dec. 28.

According to owner Sam Strange, the Wexner Center location is especially meaningful to her, as her father passed away from T-cell lymphoma in November at the James Cancer Center.

“This location is in my Dad’s honor—everything he did for this company and all the advice and faith he instilled in us will live on,” the statement reads. “This feels very full circle and I’m proud to be a part of such an incredible environment.”
