Katalina’s announces new location for third installment

The newest Katalina’s location is on its way to Bexley.

The third installment of the Katalina’s brand–named Katalina’s Tres–plans to open later this year at 2741 E. Main St. in Bexley, the former home of Boston Market.

In late 2022, Katalina’s intended to open a new restaurant at 480 W. Town St. in Franklinton, but owner Katalina Day told 614Now that the Bexley location will be opening instead of the Franklinton storefront.

Earlier today, Katalina’s announced that the new location would be coming to Bexley.

“It’s time to play ball, Bexley! Katalina’s Original Pancake Balls™, that is! Katalina’s Tres—Coming 2024! We are The Little Cafe(s) with Lots of LOCAL Goodness, and we love all our local communities Live, Love, Local,” the eatery’s statement reads.

Not long after, Bexley mayor Ben Kessler posted about the new Katalina’s as well.

“So pumped to be able to share this! Katalina’s is headed to the former Boston Market space on Main and Chelsea – so excited to welcome them to Bexley,” a Facebook post from Kessler reads.

Known for serving up a variety of creative breakfast and lunch dishes, Katalina’s first opened out of a century-old Harrison West gas station in 2011. Katalina’s, Too followed in 2019.
