This local farmers market was just named the best in the country by national publication
Sure, we may be known for our football and crispy square cut pizza here, but apparently, we also have a pretty incredible selection of vegetables and goods from farmers. This is Ohio, after all.
In fact, we have the best farmers market in the entire country, according to USA Today.
The Worthington Farmers Market, operated by the Worthington Partnership, has officially been crowned the Best Farmers Market in the United States in the 2024 10Best Readers Choice Awards, brought to you by USAToday.
The selection process involved a panel of experts and editors from USAToday deciding who to nominate, then the public was invited to cast their votes. What makes the Worthington Farmers Market stand out from anywhere else in the country is the fact it’s open year-found! It operates in the heart of the Old Worthington Historic District from May through October, then moves indoors to The Shops at Worthington Place from November through April. For the past 37 years, this market has been a prominent institution for locals to snag fresh produce and artisanal foods.
