After closing a location last year, California-based chain opening another Central Ohio restaurant in former White Castle
It appears it’s not over in Ohio for this California-based fast food chain.
After Del Taco closed their Circleville location last year, only two locations remained in Ohio, in Marion and Whitehall.

But now, they’re coming back, but to another Columbus-area suburb. Del Taco posted signs in the yard of a former White Castle at 8787 Owenfield Dr., in the Powell area, that they’re “coming soon” and that they’re currently hiring.
Del Taco is, of course, known for fast-casual tacos and epic “loaded” burritos, but unlike their competitor Taco Bell, they also offer cheeseburgers, loaded fries, and milkshakes. The first Del Taco opened back in 1964 in Yermo, California.
Del Taco represented did not respond to a request for comment for an opening date, but we’ll keep you posted.
