Local Craft Beer Distributors Lose Nearly All Their Product in Inferno
A local warehouse containing most of Columbus’ most prized beer burned down overnight last Friday.
Although there were no reported injuries, according to a 10tv, the building and its products are completely lost.
17th Star Distributing Company, one of the main sublets of the warehouse, said on their Facebook page that they will “come back bigger and better”
For now, craft beer aficionados might see a shortage of their favorite brews from 17th Star Brewing Company, including Common House Ales, The Brew Kettle, Cismontane Brewing, Iron Fist Brewing, Stout Brewing, and the Employee Brewing Company, according to Columbus Underground.
Commonhouse Ales said on their Facebook page that most of their inventory had been ruined just three weeks after they started brewing.
Commonhouse is attempting to make major donations to charity through their beer sales and said, ” Nothing will stop us from our mission to deliver Beer for Good. We’ll be back before you know it.”
