The Carvery: Serving up lunch downtown
The Carvery has had its doors open on Gay Street for less than a week. Having opened Monday, the shop is all about the sandwich. The bread they serve them on is baked each morning from scratch, meats are kept roasting until you order it and bacon is even cured on site. That’s any bacon lover’s dream. Soups, sauces and dressings aren’t canned and are made in house as well, pretty much guaranteeing fresh food all the time. Not feeling a sandwich? The bakery has got fresh baked goods as well, churning out whatever they feel like baking that day.
