Meet Mollie. She’s a high school senior in New Albany who is helping her dad realize just how expensive applying for college is—not even tuition—just the applications. Applying to college can cost between $50-$75 per school. Depending on how many schools she plans to apply for, that could be quite a bit of cash. To help combat her parent’s stress, she launched a Kickstarter to help pay for the applications. “Help this young woman accomplish her dreams, because if some guy can raise 60,000 dollars to make potato salad, Mollie should be able to pay for her freaking college applications,” the campaign reads.
