Kroger letting you skip checkout line soon

You can now nix the judgmental stares of people in the line next to you when they look upon your cart full of pizza bagels, fudgesicles, and BBQ potato chips with Kroger’s Scan, Bag, Go program.

Instead of waiting in the checkout queue, you’ll be able to scan items as you place them in your cart or bag using a store-provided scanner or the Scan, Bag, Go app. Before going home to binge eat, you’ll pay at a self-checkout station, reports Columbus Business First.

This service will be up and running in certain Columbus Kroger stores by the end of the year.
