Watch: UA police tackle partially-naked 20yo after he caused $27k worth of damage
One minute he’s shooting hoops, the next he’s partially streaking onto an Upper Arlington lacrosse field after causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage at a nearby home.
This is the reality of one Melvin Keashawn Williams, 20, who’s currently in custody of the Upper Arlington Police Department.
Williams was playing basketball around 7:30pm Wednesday when he ditched the court for a little B&E action, reports 10TV.
He broke into a home and caused $27,000 worth of damage.
Next up in the charade was a semi-streaking stunt at a nearby junior high.
Williams stripped down to his boxers and took the lacrosse field at Hastings Middle School.
Believing he was in distress, the team approached him but were met by Williams’ swinging fists.
People on the field tackled the rogue 20-year-old and police came to the scene to cuff him.
Williams must not have had enough because he wiggled from the cops’ grasps and took off running.
He was brought to the ground for the second and final time.
Williams is looking at charges of assault, inducing panic, burglary, assault on a police officer, and vandalism, reports 10TV.
He will appear at Franklin County Municipal Court 9 a.m. Friday morning.
