Party In The Garten: The Perfect Place For Mother’s Day Gifts

Mother’s Day is just a few short days away and you forgot to get your mother something—AGAIN. We don’t want to hear your excuses this year, save them for your mom.

Before you skirt off last minute to Kroger and pick up the first bouquet of flowers, a box of expensive chocolates, and probably a pack of gum, you still have time to salvage your Mother’s Day gift. Head over to the German Village Garten Club’s annual plant sale on Saturday (that’s the day before Mother’s Day so you’re really cuttin’ it close, buddy) where you can scoop your mother the perfect gift whether it be flowers (not from Kroger), art and decor, jewelry, or a combination of the three because you are feeling pretty guilty about forgetting again.

Of course, if you really want to go all out, you bring your mother to the event early to score some free breakfast for the first 100 people who arrive from The Cheesy Truck then adventure into all the vendors to find the perfect gift hand selected by you and your moms. If your mom is more of a night owl than a morning bird, Two Tones Brewing will be hanging out at the event dishing out craft beers. And if your mom is a true weekend warrior, you’ll start the morning with a few PBRs at home before you hit up the free breakfast then make your way to Two Tones for more booze.

Grab your leash and bring your four-legged friends. Bring your kids too! Just leave the kid’s leash at home. All proceeds benefit community Beautification in German Village.
