If you feel like you’ve been shelling out more dinero at the gas pump than before, odds are you have been. And according to a report from 10TV, the AAA said Ohio drivers can expect gas prices to keep rising for the time being.

10TV reported that gas prices in Ohio right now are up 66 cents since last year. This could be because of the recently re-imposed economic sanctions on Iran and its implications with the price of oil.
AAA said crude oil currently sits about $70 per barrel, the highest since November 2014. — 10TV News.
According to the AAA website for national gas prices, Columbus’s current average is $2.863 for regular gas which is an increase from last month’s average price which was $2.534. As of last year’s gas prices averages, Columbus drivers were paying $2.206 at the pump for regular gas.
