New Albany High School evacuated due to bomb threat
UPDATE: After a threat was found on the wall of the girl’s bathroom, New Albany police were called to New Albany High School to sweep the building for bombs. All high school activities were canceled for the night and both high school and middle school at the New Albany campus was released at 2:50 p.m.
A bomb threat in the girl’s restroom at New Albany High School prompted the school to be evacuated, a note sent to parents read. At this time only the high school was affected, and the rest of the campus has remained in their area of their buildings. Students who drove to school have been taken to their cars and released from the campus, while other students have been taken to a safe location within New Albany schools campus, the note read.
