Powell apartments are a go
With a nail biting, 4-3, vote the mutli-use Powell apartments are finally a go after being hit with some criticism. While some didn’t think the complex was the right fit for the area, the final vote swung toward the development just west of downtown Powell. According to ThisWeek Community News councilmen Richard Cline, who voted for the complex, said, “We’re not talking about a significant change in our community … We’re talking about a percent and a half of our housing.”
