New Urban Meyer concept to open this month
Urban Chophouse, located inside the Corso Ventures’ Luxe 23 apartment community, is slated to have a grand opening on May 12 at 1079 N. High St., according to a release.
The concept comes from a partnership between Chris Corso and football coach Urban Meyer and Preferred Living; Corso and Meyer previously partnered to open Urban’s Pint House in September 2019 in Dublin’s Bridge Park.

A modern steakhouse vibe will combine with a lavish lounge experience at Urban Chophouse, which will serve a selection of steaks, seafood, a raw bar, sushi, and craft cocktails. The menu will feature USDA Prime steaks as well as Seafood Towers with half-shell oysters, king crab legs, lobster, lump crab meat, and shrimp.
“Columbus is home to a variety of excellent steakhouses, but I challenged our team to create not only a unique menu, but an experience that takes the steakhouse out of your grandfather’s basement and into a vibrant space with the energy of an ultra-lounge, but a sense of class and sophistication that rivals any celebrity chef space in Las Vegas,” said Corso in a prepared statement. “This is a concept that I believe could be our first brand to expand outside of central Ohio in the very near future.”
