First new Columbus-area Krispy Kreme in years to open tomorrow
It’s finally happening, folks. The donut gods have bestowed on us another Krispy Kreme.
The newest location (the first in the Columbus area since 2015) opens tomorrow, June 8, in Tanglewood Plaza at 1781 Hilliard-Rome Rd. Hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. And for the remainder of 2021, anyone who shows a valid COVID-19 vax card at the new shop or any other shop (nationwide) can receive a free glazed donut.

Krispy Kreme District Manager Keith Katz said opening a new location in Hilliard made sense because the spot will serve Hilliard residents and also nearby OSU students, since its only about 10 miles away from campus.
“We just felt it was time to offer local residents and visitors alike a new location to stop by and enjoy delicious doughnuts,” Katz said. “We couldn’t be more excited to start serving the Hilliard community.”
This location is the fourth in the Columbus area.
