Snap the perfect photo inside the first-ever Columbus selfie museum, opening this weekend
Has your selfie game been lacking lately, Columbus?
If so, don’t worry, we have just the thing for you. Columbus is getting its very own selfie museum.
#Viral Selfie Museum, located at 1555 N. 4th St., is holding its grand opening on Sept. 11, and tickets are on sale now.
The museum is made up of 19 different themed “booths” where visitors can use everything from the candy-colored backdrop, to scenery elements, and props to achieve the picture-perfect selfie.

“An immersive pool of bright colors, props, and optical illusions make this more than just a museum but a fun experience for all age ranges,” #Viral Selfie Museum’s website reads. “We pride ourselves on our unique handmade exhibits and know that everyone who visits #Viral Columbus will find a work of art that connects with them.”
One of the more eye-catching booths is known as the Airplane Aisle. It features several rows of realistic-looking airline seats set next to a mock airplane wall and windows. While the proportions are correct, everything—from the seats, to the walls and the floor— is colored bubble-gum pink.
Guests can also expect booths like Candyland, Ball Pitt, Clawfoot Tub, and many more. There’s even a Supreme-themed space and an enormous chair made from stacks of hundred dollar bills.
Tickets are sold in one-hour increments, meaning you’ll have sixty minutes to snap as many different selfies as you’d like, from as many different booths as you see fit. The museum also allows guests to bring in professional camera equipment to make sure they’re getting the best-quality selfies possible.
Tickets are available for purchase here. The museum does also accept walk-ins, but they’re on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
