Trump to Ohio, “What the hell do you have to lose?”

In Trump’s most recent visit to Ohio, he spoke for nearly an hour to an audience packed to the brim at University of Akron’s Rhodes Arena.

After Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani spoke for roughly 14 minutes, Trump came out to the soaring guitars of, “Proud to be an American” and a raucous crowd.

He started immediately with the praise and then the proclamations.

“What the hell do you have to lose? Give me a chance,” Trump said of his candidacy. “I’ll straighten it out.”

As the night went on, Trump was unusually focused and on message – he made none of the ‘gaffs’ that have defined his campaign since the start of his nomination. Trump’s campaign recently employed a new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway.

“I have a very special message for you here tonight – We’re going to win Ohio. We’re going to win the White House.”

Trump then promised to bring back the jobs to this state. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Ohio’s unemployment rate for July (4.8P) is close to the lowest it has been in ten years.

“We’re going to negotiate fair trade deals and what I mean by fair is ‘Great!'”

Trump spent the majority of the speech focused on Hillary and his policies, and an attempt to further distance himself from politicians and lobbyists.

Trump has not yet scheduled any more appearances in Ohio.

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear in Cincinnati on August 31st for the American Legion National Convention.
