The banging and hammering on the Ohio Stadium will soon be done. More precisely it will be done the day before the OSU football home opener against Virginia Tech. The original completion date was Aug. 14, according to the Lantern, but the timeline has been pushed back to Sept. 5 an OSU athletics spokesman told the paper. Sept. 6, the Buckeyes will be in the stadium along with thousands of fans. The construction added 2,600 seats to the south stands and permanent lighting to the stadium for night games.
