This week a specific community will arise downtown in the form a 40-unit apartment complex downtown. No, it’s not the young professional community either. Hawthorn Grove Apartments is set to begin construction this week, catering to those with mental disabilities or illnesses. The complex will also house one resident manager and host recovery and wellness programs by The Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County. There will also be programs focused on employment for the residents. The project is expected to wrap up in July of 2015.
