More bikes. More fundraising. More Pelotonia.
For five years, Pelotinia has shown up at the steps of Columbus Commons to begin a bike race to end cancer. For this year’s race the spandex clad racers will be split between Columbus Commons, the Arena District and Pickerington, because the commons is just too small for the all the bikers beginning from downtown (as was apparent by the bumper to bumper cars covered in biking stickers last year). The change was to help with the safety of the riders, because starting a bike race with 6,000 of your best friends all around you can be overwhelming and lead to more than just a few tumbles.
