OSU med center capping spending

The Wexner Medical Center is cutting support on academic and clinical activities because of the added strain on its budget for the soon to be open cancer and critical care center. $100 million will now be given to support those activities as compared to the previous $118 million the hospital gave before. The cuts though won’t have any effect on the students and residents and instead will just delay researchers from bringing on new people, the Dispatch reported.
