Ross Heart Hospital adding OR
While the Wexner Medical Center is still buzzing with new construction in some areas and finishing touches are done in others, another project will be added to the Ross Heart Hospital. $3.5 million will go toward a “hybrid” operating room and cardiac catheterization lab according to Columbus Business First. A cath lab operation generally uses very small instruments that go through the veins toward the heart, and the hybrid ORs would pair that technology with the extra equipment and space that are required for surgeries.
