I-71 south closing in downtown this weekend
Just in time for increased traffic for the Buckeye game Saturday, I-71 south will be closed in parts of downtown this weekend as well as the entrance ramps at 5th and 11th avenues, according to the Dispatch. Sounds like the making for a fun, traffic filled weekend. The closure is (surprisingly) not because of the game, but because the roads are getting a new top coat of asphalt. The closure will begin Friday night. This is part of the tail end of the I-71/670 interchange rebuild.
