Less parking: OSU wants to create a shuttle for a ‘park once’ plan

Ohio State is proposing a shuttle that would take people from their car near campus onto the campus area. Parking that is on the edges of campus will be pushed farther out, and with the new plan shuttles services would be reworked so that there would be less people biking and driving onto campus, attempting to navigate between the swarms of students. The idea stems from the “park once” mentality where visitors will park their car on the edges of campus rather than on it, according to the Dispatch. The proposal is set to hit the trustees in their November meeting.
