Clintonville rock-n-roll boutique falls silent

An eclectic rock-n-roll boutique in Clintonville will be taking an “indefinite hiatus” after eleven years.

What The Rock?! at 3039 Indianola Avenue posted about the closure on Facebook yesterday and added there is no plan for a future location. What The Rock?! does plan on continuing online sales.

Their announcement was met with an influx of condolences, thanks, and fond memories shared.

A comment on the post attributes the closure to skyrocketing rent.

What The Rock?! replied to the comment and said, “You always know how to put what we’re feeling into words.”

But before What The Rock?! hangs it up for good, they’re hosting holiday farewell bashes every weekend until Christmas Eve:
