Shakeup on the airwaves: CD102.5 Program Director steps down

After seven years in the driver’s seat, Lesley James will be stepping down from the Program Director position at CD102.5 due to reasons beyond her control. Daily Hits Double reports that she will remain a DJ at the station and will keep her same afternoon shift during the 5 O’clock Spot.

Mase, who is relatively new to The Alternative Station, will be taking over as PD. Mase hosts The Stash show every evening during which classic alt rock tunes are played.

James first began at the station in 2005 just three months after she Guest DJ’ed when Andyman was still gracing us. In her bio, she cites Oasis, Depeche Mode, Kasabian, New Order, Arctic Monkeys, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs as a few of her favorite bands.
