Dublin boutique rocking brides’ worlds in worst way
Elegant Bride in Dublin opened their doors in 2004. Everything seemed to be sailing smoothly…but then 2015 hit and so did a shit storm.
ABC6 reports that one woman named Danielle Holler received her wedding over 3 months late. Strike one.
The owner of the store, Frankie Murphy, promised to pick up the alteration tab but Holler was informed that she had made that same promise before and never came through. Strike two.
But when it finally arrived, much to her dismay, she realized it was the wrong dress. Huge strike three.
And this same woman—this poor, poor woman—was promised a refund of $890 from Murphy and it didn’t go through until a month later. Strike four.
In a separate, more recent incident, several bridesmaids who went through Elegant Bride said their dresses arrived late and were not what they ordered.
Since that info came out, another bride came forward saying her Elegant Bride wedding dress was overdue.
ABC6 reports the business sent a “very detailed” press release trying to explain the screw ups and also apologizing to their customers.
