“Mini North Market” + brewery planned for Hilliard

Hilliard could be getting a new brewery and a “mini North Market.”

Orlando-based Crooked Can Brewing Co. would be part of a larger project to be called Center Street Market at 5354 Center St.

Columbus Business First reports the 11-stall market will be a mix of goods merchants and eateries plus the brewery, an event space and an outdoor patio.

Center Street Market would be next to Otie’s Tavern & Grill and near both First Responders Park and Station Park.

Two of the three partners behind the Hilliard project are local natives while only one person is based in Florida.

The Hilliard Planning & Zoning Commission will hear the plans Thursday.

Target open date is Memorial Day 2019.
