Stop and smell the roses at Land-Grant’s proposed beer garden

Land-Grant Brewing has been thinking and they’ve decided they want the vacant lot next to them for a very special project.

The Franklinton craft brewery will submit a plan for review to transform the area at 424 W. Town St. into a beer garden.

Land-Grant has used the lot before for events but wants to make it a more permanent fixture, reports Columbus Business First.

The current lot owner has no plans for development which is great news for Land-Grant—and us, for that matter!

The proposal includes communal-style seating fit for 100+ people and an outdoor stage.

As for right now though, Land-Grant has to sit tight and wait for approval from both East Franklinton Review Board and the City of Columbus.
