Update: Identity of victim found along I-70 released
Update: The victim found dead alongside I-70 yesterday has been identified as 42-year-old Robert J. Coleman.
His body was not struck by a vehicle but, rather, Police believe his body was dumped after he died from an overdose.
Police are still investigating.

10/02/2018: Police closed all eastbound lanes of I-70 this morning after a dead body was found.
The Columbus Division of Police received multiple calls about a body left on the side of I-70 at W Mound St. near Cooper Stadium, reports 10TV.
ODOT has since reopened eastbound lanes of I-70.
The Columbus Police Homicide Unit & Accident Investigation Unit are on scene.

FYI: Today 10/2/18@7:36am CPD received multiple calls about a body on the left side of the roadway on I70EB@W Mound St. near Cooper Stadium. A victim was located & pronounced at scene. Investigation underway. Homicide Unit & Accident Investigation Unit responded.
