3rd person in 19 months dies from jumping/falling from OSU garage
Update: An Ohio State student who fell from the top of the Lane Avenue parking garage this morning has died.
The student has been identified as Joshua Song.
The university released the following statement:

“On behalf of the Ohio State community, our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of Joshua Song during this difficult time. We have reached out to express our sympathy and offer our support to Joshua’s family.”
Students affected by this incident can seek counseling at 614-292-5766.
10tV reports the top of the parking garage and surrounding streets have not reopened.
This is the fourth person in in 19 months to fall/jump from an Ohio State parking garage and the third person to perish.
Daniel Birdsall, 19, a sophomore studying sociology, died after falling from the university’s Union South garage this past April.
Four days later, Kelly Denlinger, 35, a former student at Ohio State who last attended in 2007 fell from the same garage but survived.
In February 2017, Madison Paul, 19, a first-year, pre-med neurosciences major from Zanesville, died after a fall at the garage. Officials later determined it was a suicide.
A unidentified male is in critical condition after he reportedly fell from the top of the Lane Avenue parking garage Tuesday.
The Lantern reports the person was transported to the hospital by emergency services.
It is unknown whether or not he is associated with the university.

The parking garage is now open with the top floor closed. Parts of Neil Avenue and Tuttle Park Place are also closed.
This past April, two individuals jumped/fell from the Ohio Union South parking garage within four days of each other.
Another person fell to their death from the same garage in February 2017.
