If one human year equals seven dog years, does seven BrewDog dollars equal one human dollar? If that’s what you think is fair, then yes!
For the next four days, BrewDog is leaving the price of beverages, food, and hotel stays up to you. It’s called Honest To Dog and it’s an experiment to reveal exactly how much BrewDog fans believe the products are worth.
Running June 3 – June 6, Honest To Dog will be available to all Equity Punk investors and is designed to generate feedback from the shareholder community. Every customer that pays for a beer under full value will be issued a feedback card to explain their rationale for paying less. This policy ensures that BrewDog’s community is being heard, with all feedback being published online by BrewDog once the scheme has wrapped up.

All overpayments will be split 50/50 between the BrewDog staff and local charitable causes via BrewDog Foundation.
“With BrewDog being a community owned business, it’s important for us to know what customers think of our products,” said CEO James Watt, Captain of BrewDog. “With the Honest To Dog initiative we want to show our commitment to our Equity Punks by putting them in the driver’s seat, and help pioneer a whole new generation of business model.”
Honest To Dog applies to all beers, DogHouse hotel rooms, and food, except takeaways. Merch and takeaways are not included.
BrewDog’s Punk IPA is $5.50 on average. Do you think that is a fair price? Let us know in the comments below!
