If you’re curious which breakups left audiences grabbing the most tissues, you’re in luck: OnBuy TV and Cinema formulated a list of saddest breakups, surveying 2,233 people across the world and searching viewer ratings to create a points system to rank the couples.

So which one topped the list? That honor would go to “Friends’” Ross and Rachel, who earned 370 index points. No spoilers here if you haven’t watched the series, but let’s just say we’re not surprised.
Another “Friends” couple, Monica and Richard, also managed to squeeze into the top 10 saddest break-ups, earning 8th place with 129 points. Didn’t you guys like Chandler?
Do you “Gilmore Girls” fans remember Luke and Lorelai? Their breakup ranked 9th, with 100 points.
