“Beach-themed” bar now open in Downtown

Need a vacation? Take one without even leaving the city at Downtown’s newest bar, Palmas Tropical Escape.

On the company website, Palmas is described as “a beach-themed almost resort-styled restaurant/bar where the desire is to help people forget that they are in the city.”

Exotic-looking foliage and a tropical aroma add to the island vibe, while fruity cocktails, lively music, and dancing create an atmosphere suited for the sandy shore. The menu boasts Latin American favorites like paella, empanadas, and tacos.

Palmas will also host events like Latin Vinyl Happy Hour, Latino Nights, and the Columbus Tango Festival.
