It’s a Platter Party: Did someone say charcuterie boards?

Sarah Sole

There’s something about a myriad of meats and cheeses arrayed decoratively that just lifts our spirits.

But if you don’t want to take the effort to make your own charcuterie board this holiday, we’ve rounded up a handful of places from which you can order yours all ready to go. No slicing and dicing here, friends. All you have to do is order up and chow down.

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

Uptown Deli and Brew

Uptown Deli and Brew is offering three varieties of charcuterie boards for your seasonal needs. Their Brunch Board (starting at $65) features mini quiche, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit and candied bacon. The Holiday Board (starting at $40) includes the requisite meats and cheese but adds homemade gingerbread men, peppermint bark, and fruitcake. Finally, the New Years Eve Board (starting at $40) lets you ring in 2021 in style. You can order via [email protected] or via this form

Black Radish Creamery

Black Radish Creamery’s Granville facility features a creamery with two custom cheese caves as well as a commercial kitchen in which they make preserves. It’s no surprise that their custom cheese boards and spreads are a sure way to elevate any special event. To order, email [email protected]

The Butcher & Grocer

For local meats from small Ohio farms, you can’t do much better than The Butcher & Grocer. Their charcuterie boards ($13 per person) are assembled using a house selection of four meats, four cheeses, dried fruits, and almonds. Visit their online shop for more information.

Katzinger’s

The Noshing Boards from Katzinger’s are made-to-order and serve two to three people. Choices include the Cheese Monger’s Choice, a selection from Katzinger’s experts; the You Pick Cheese Board, your selection of four cheeses; the Charcuterie Board, your selection of four deli meats; and the Cheese & Charcuterie Board, three cheeses and three meats.

North Country Charcuterie

With charcuterie in their name, we can trust this Columbus cured meats company knows a thing or two about cheese and meat platters. They offer a variety of charcuterie kits, which start at $34.99 and include shipping.
